Quality assured

We always try to create quality products. To do this, we test our products both internally and with external partners. If there is anything wrong with the product, we accept our responsibility. To fully enjoy a floor, the product must be of optimum quality, must be installed correctly and, finally, must be properly maintained.

Conditions

The warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and hidden defects of the delivered product, subject to timely notification of them in accordance with the provisions of this warranty.

This guarantee only applies to the first end customer and first installation in normally loaded rooms. This guarantee is not transferable.

In case of modifications or repairs to the product without the manufacturer's written consent, the warranty does not apply.

This guarantee only applies in case of (i) installation of the product according to the manufacturer's installation instructions and in accordance with the rules of the art, (ii) use and maintenance of the product according to the manual (supplied with the product, available on the manufacturer's website and a copy of which can be obtained on simple request) and (iii) storage, installation and use in normal conditions in terms of environmental factors (e.g. no exposure to extreme temperatures or temperature fluctuations or humidity, no contact with chemicals, etc.).

Scope of the warranty

  • damage due to abuse, incorrect, abnormal or improper use or overloading, including but not limited to mechanical damage, such as dents and scratches, or damage caused by external influences (such as by stiletto heels, furniture feet, stones, sand, nail scratches from animals, etc.);

  • damage due to inadequate or incorrect maintenance, cleaning or handling, such as chemical damage caused by corrosive products or urine, or damage or odour nuisance caused by moisture (e.g. by sewage, washing-up water) or a damp surface (e.g. by mould);

  • damage resulting from installation in areas with a high presence of chemicals (e.g. hairdressing salons), in areas with frequent rubber contact or in unheated, permanently humid areas or areas with drains;

  • the presence or generation of sounds or odours (e.g. the creaking of parquet);

  • damage caused by placing the floor on a "reversible" underfloor heating system, which gives off cold in the summer months, causing the surface temperature to drop below 18°C.

Notification

A complaint must be notified in writing to the manufacturer no later than 15 days after the occurrence of the defect, with a detailed description of the defect. In the event of a dispute, either party may appoint an expert at its own expense.

Manufacturer's commitments

In the event of an admissible and well-founded claim under the warranty, the manufacturer shall, at its own expense, supply the products necessary to repair or replace the defective products, at the manufacturer's discretion. The repair or replacement shall be limited to the affected panels and replacement shall be by means of panels belonging to the manufacturer's range available at that time.

Insofar as the floor was installed in full accordance with the rules of the art and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, the manufacturer may, within the framework of this warranty, bear the reasonable labour costs for the repair or replacement of the defective part. However, such costs must be quantified and approved in writing by the manufacturer prior to performance. Subject to the foregoing, the manufacturer shall not be liable for any other compensation or liability.

Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer be liable for compensation for indirect damage or consequential damage such as, but not limited to, loss of time, inconvenience, damage to other goods belonging to the customer or third parties, relocation or administration costs, furniture storage costs or other costs.
