Belgian cycling analyst Ine Beyen has chosen parquet and Parquetvinyl from Lamett. This marks the start of an authentic home story that will be told step by step over the coming months.
Belgian cycling analyst and former cyclist Ine Beyen chose the Belgian flooring brand Lamett for the flooring in her new home in De Haan. On the ground floor, she opted for authentic parquet, whilst upstairs, including the bathroom, she chose Parquetvinyl. In doing so, she has deliberately opted for a combination of a natural look, comfort and practical ease of use.
When designing her new home, one guiding principle was central: to create an interior that radiates warmth, brings a sense of calm and, at the same time, fits in perfectly with everyday family life.
For the ground floor, Ine chose Carcassonne 220 Black, a characterful parquet floor that contrasts beautifully with the bold colours in the interior and harmonises with the wooded surroundings in which the house is situated.
On the upper floor, including the bathroom, she opted for Parquetvinyl Tigris Chocolate Fudge. Thanks to its warm wood-effect finish, ease of maintenance and water-resistant properties, this flooring is the ideal solution for spaces where comfort and functionality come together.
Earlier this year, Ine walked into our showroom brimming with ideas and expectations. Amidst the many textures, warm wood tones and contemporary patterns, she set out to find the floor that would form the basis for her dream interior. After all, a new-build home is a blank canvas, and choosing the right floor is the crucial first step in transforming a cold, shell-like house into a warm and cosy home.
Together with our consultant Justine, she explored the various options, felt the difference in materials and saw how the right lighting can bring a décor to life.
