Wout Van Aert invests in Mon Dada with wife Sarah De Bie and Bruno Descamps

Mon Dada, the luxury candle brand of founder Pauline D'Haenens, produces and sells luxury scented candles in 40 countries. To realise these ambitions, Mon Dada is attracting investors Wout Van Aert, Sarah De Bie and Bruno Descamps.

"Mon Dada, a producer of artisanal scented candles, has big plans for the future. Belgian entrepreneur Pauline D'Haenens created her first candles in New York in 2019. These luxury candles are now distributed worldwide through a robust dealer network to over 40 countries. Pauline's scented candles are 100% unique and are handmade in Belgium."

"Our candles are available for purchase in 400 stores across approximately 40 countries, from Spain to Venezuela, including Singapore," says D'Haenens. "The intention is to achieve a turnover of 2 million euros for this fiscal year." The funding from the new investors is expected to aid in achieving 'spectacular growth' in the coming years, according to D'Haenens.

Together with Wout Van Aert, Sarah De Bie, and co-investor Bruno Descamps, CEO of Lamett, a vision and plan were developed for the upcoming years.
